The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired ahead Mathias Laferriere from the St. Louis Blues in alternate for ahead Corey Andonovski.
A fourth-year professional, Laferriere has recorded two objectives and eight assists in 33 video games for the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds this season.
The Montreal native was chosen by the Blues within the sixth spherical of the 2018 NHL Draft. He has totaled 21 objectives and 49 assists for 70 factors in 207 profession AHL video games with Springfield.
Andonovski has performed 27 video games for the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this season, registering three objectives and two assists.
In 157 AHL video games for the Penguins, the third-year professional has notched 18 objectives and 36 assists for 54 factors.
