The Coachella Valley Firebirds have signed defenseman Turner Ottenbreit to an American Hockey League contract for the 2024-25 season.
Ottenbreit, who spent final season with Kunlun Purple Star within the Kontinental Hockey League, has performed 179 AHL video games with San Antonio and Iowa, recording 10 objectives and 29 assists. His final look within the AHL was with the Wild in 2022-23, when he posted 4 objectives and eight assists together with a plus-13 score in 57 contests.
A local of Yorkton, Sask., Ottenbreit performed junior hockey for Seattle within the Western Hockey League, profitable a championship in 2017 and serving as crew captain in 2017-18.
